Condition Surveys for Local Authority
This large survey instruction included inspecting over 200 buildings over a 12-month programme. The buildings included offices, care homes, health centres, parks and commercial depots.
The reports were planned preventative maintenance schedules, which had a 10-year reporting period. The surveys were undertaken to provide a systematic, uniform, and objective basis for obtaining detailed information on the condition of the local authorities premises and the maintenance work that is required over the ten-year reporting period.

A systematic approach was followed to assess the condition and remaining life of each element and sub-element.
We provided recommendations to prioritise any major repairs, alterations, or replacements, ensure statutory compliance, assessment to ensure each building remains in an operational condition for its whole life.
