Joanna Hawkins-Spencer

Joanna joined Wainwrights in 2021 to head up and develop the Project Management and Quantity Surveying offering at Wainwrights.
Over the years Joanna has had experience in delivering a variety of projects for both public and private sector clients, these projects have included new builds, extensions and alterations.
Joanna’s expertise is in both pre and post contract cost control and contract administration across a variety of sectors including complex commercial new builds, retail and leisure extensions, workplace refurbishments, care home roll outs and new build industrial units.
From project inception to completion Joanna will take responsibility for feasibility / budgeting, procurement, tendering, contract awards and cost control throughout the duration of the project. She has excellent knowledge of JCT and NEC and is adapt at contract administration and negotiations.
Outside of Work
Joanna is a keen swimmer and enjoys playing tennis. She enjoys holidays and weekends away with friends and family and is currently perfecting her pasta making skills with varying levels of success.
She works as a volunteer for The William Merritt Disabled Living Centre as part of their fund-raising committee.
